I first came to the Philippines as a Peace Corps volunteer, back in 1961. Since that time I visited here frequently and in June 2007 we decided to retire here permanently.

As others see us
Noel's nephew Alecs and his girlfriend recently visited us from Calgary. They also have a blog and did a write-up on their visit to Silang.
Hi Hans and Noel, I am certain that all who came to spend your B-day with you had a great time. I am also certain that they much admired how you both have dilligently looked after the building of the house and all the furniture and nick-nacks that make your abode very homey, warm and airy.
